Description

Red Cedar TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Senior Information Systems Architect to join our team.
Missing a certification for this position? Red Cedar TG will work with candidates that are otherwise fully qualified to help them obtain required certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, ITIL, CISSP, and other required certifications."
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 annually and is dependent on geographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
We're looking for a seasoned Information Systems Architect who can operate with real autonomy — someone who thrives on complex, high-stakes work and doesn't need a roadmap to know where to go next. In this role, you'll be the architectural driving force behind our application systems and IT infrastructure, shaping how they're designed, built, and evolved over time.
You'll work directly with users and stakeholders to understand what they truly need, then translate those requirements into high-quality solutions that deliver real results. Collaboration is at the heart of this role: you'll partner closely with developers and engineers to build out application roadmaps, align development plans, and ensure every system and infrastructure component integrates seamlessly with the next.
The technology landscape never stops shifting, and you'll be the one keeping us ahead of it — monitoring emerging trends and advancements, and using that insight to continuously refine our solutions so they stay aligned with both industry standards and where the business is headed. Because our systems, applications, and services are so tightly interwoven, you'll need to deeply understand how they interact, carefully evaluating the downstream impact of any change or addition before it's made.
You'll also own the quality bar — analyzing systems, conducting usability testing, and validating performance and reliability, all while enhancing scalability and meeting rigorous security requirements.
This role is built for someone who can handle complex, important work with minimal oversight. You'll be trusted with wide latitude for independent judgment, and expected to bring the expertise and confidence to make sound decisions on your own. If you're the kind of person who sees the whole system, anticipates what's next, and takes ownership without needing to be told how — we want to talk to you.
