Job Purpose
Unilever International is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Brand Manager to support brand building and activation across Markets (Morrocco, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt). This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to lead digital-first marketing, innovation rollouts, and in-store excellence for high-growth brands.
What will be your main responsibilities
Media Strategy & Planning
- Champion a social-first, mobile-led media approach aligned with brand purpose and consumer passion points
- Identify high-impact digital platforms and audience segments to drive precision marketing
- Analyze media effectiveness and optimize campaign performance using KPIs such as reach, engagement, VTR, CTR, and ROI
Influencer Marketing & PR Amplification
- Craft influencer strategies that spark cultural relevance, talkability, and desire
- Lead end-to-end influencer and PR partnerships – from ideation, briefing, and contracting to amplification and post-campaign tracking
- Deliver earned media and social buzz for key innovations and moments
dCommerce Strategy & Conversion
- Own digital commerce plans for Amazon, Noon, and other key platforms to drive visibility and conversion
- Collaborate with the media and sales teams to launch always-on and burst campaigns that link media to cart
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize product content, ratings, and search to enhance conversion
In-Store Activation
- Work closely with the Business Development team to identify high-impact retail accounts and bring key brands to life in-store
- Execute standout activations and POS visibility to drive shopper engagement and offtake
- Track ROI and continuously improve activation strategies
Brand Health & Performance Management
- Monitor key brand metrics including IMS, market share, numeric and weighted distribution, and EPOS sell-out data
- Identify gaps and opportunities and develop corrective action plans to improve brand performance
- Share learnings and drive continuous performance improvement with business teams to enhance performance
Budget Management
- End-to-end ownership of Brand Marketing Investment (BMI): budgeting, IO creation, PO releases, spend tracking, and GRN completion
- Ensure full financial compliance and timely reconciliation of marketing spends
Innovation Management
- Collaborate with Global Brand, BG, and Innovation Planning teams to lead Type 1–4 innovations
- Manage project timelines, artworks, regulatory clearance, and local readiness to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery of launches
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, and Legal to ensure flawless market launch
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with UI BGs, BU Cross-functional BU Team: BD, Finance, SC, NPD to deliver the marketing objectives
- Strengthen and influencer external partnerships with Customers and Agencies to gain support to deliver business objectives
What you need to succeed
Experience and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
3-5 years in marketing or brand management (FMCG preferred), ideally in international or multi-market roles.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and executional discipline
- Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into insight
- Exposure to digital marketing, media planning, and eCommerce
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- High agility, initiative, and growth mindset
- Experience working with creative/media agencies and cross-functional partners
