The Finance Controller will lead the Controllership, Compliance, and Governance agenda for DHR Holding Entities, driving financial integrity, strong controls, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role requires a strong technical accounting foundation combined with a business partnering mindset to support growth and strategic decision-making.

Reporting to the Finance Director, Danaher India, this Bangalore-based role will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Ind AS, and statutory accounting requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, balance sheet governance, month-end close, and financial reporting processes.
• Lead statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely closure with minimal observations.
• Drive compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, transfer pricing requirements, and tax litigation support.
• Develop risk identification mechanisms and ensure timely closure of audit and compliance actions.
• Support ERP and process improvements to enhance controls, compliance, and efficiency.
• Partner with business leaders on growth initiatives, new entity setups, IDC support, and strategic projects.
• Drive shared service model setup, finance transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 13+ years of experience across accounting, controllership, taxation, and FP&A in multinational or large organizations.
• Strong expertise in financial controls, compliance, governance, and risk management.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to challenge constructively.
• Strong ethics around compliance and integrity and no compromise mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management, business partnering, and change leadership skills.
• Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and finance transformation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Navision ERP preferable but not mandatory, however ability to learn existing ERP and drive efficiency and productivity improvements is expected.
