Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Permission Validation in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
