We are seeking a Media Operations & Product Enablement Manager to drive operational excellence and product optimization across onsite and at-store propositions.
Rather than managing day-to-day campaign execution, this role focuses on designing, optimizing, and scaling the operational frameworks that support both managed-service and self-service advertising products.
This is a highly cross-functional role responsible for overseeing owned and operated media operations while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Client Services, Account Management, Analytics, and Retail Media teams to improve workflows, scale operations, and optimize platform capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines deep operational expertise with a passion for process improvement and product innovation. They understand the end-to-end lifecycle of owned and operated advertising campaigns and are energized by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and enhance the advertiser experience.
This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Commerce & Retail Media.
Responsibilities
Own the operational strategy and continuous improvement roadmap for onsite and at-store retail media workflows across managed-service and self-service products.
Evaluate existing operational processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and scale ways of working across cross-functional teams.
Partner with our clients’ Product and Engineering to prioritize operational enhancements, improve platform usability, and influence future product capabilities based on operational needs.
Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures, governance models, documentation, and workflow playbooks that improve consistency across the organization.
Build scalable operational frameworks that support growth while maintaining quality, efficiency, and service excellence.
Collaborate with Client Services, Media Operations, Analytics, Finance, and Product teams to improve cross-functional alignment and operational transparency.
Establish quality assurance standards, operational controls, and success metrics that support new product launches and ongoing platform enhancements.
Analyze operational performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance team productivity.
Drive process optimization initiatives through automation, AI-enabled workflows, and operational tooling.
Lead change management efforts for new processes, technologies, and platform capabilities, including documentation, training, and adoption planning.
Identify operational risks, workflow gaps, and dependencies while partnering with stakeholders to develop scalable solutions.
Serve as the operational subject matter expert for O&O media products and advise leadership on opportunities to improve scalability, governance, and operational maturity.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned, measuring operational success, and driving ongoing refinement of business processes.
You Are
A systems thinker who naturally looks for opportunities to improve how organizations operate.
Passionate about building scalable operational foundations rather than managing day-to-day execution.
Highly collaborative and comfortable influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Analytical and process-oriented, with the ability to translate operational challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
Curious about AI, automation, and emerging technologies and excited to apply them to improve operational efficiency.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity while building structure that enables organizational growth.
A proactive communicator who builds alignment across technical, operational, and client-facing teams.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in media operations, retail media, advertising operations, program management, product operations, or operational excellence.
Experience designing or improving operational workflows within digital advertising, retail media, eCommerce, SaaS, or technology organizations.
Demonstrated success leading process improvement, workflow optimization, or operational transformation initiatives.
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to improve platforms, systems, or user workflows.
Familiarity with onsite and at-store retail media ecosystems, ad serving technologies, order management systems, campaign management platforms, or advertising operations.
Strong understanding of operational governance, documentation, process mapping, and change management.
Experience supporting self-service advertising products or platform operations is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills with experience managing multiple cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence teams across all levels of the organization.
Retail media network, digital advertising, or eCommerce experience strongly preferred.
Experience implementing automation, AI-enabled workflows, or operational tooling is a plus
