| General Description / Objective |
The Data Analyst will evaluate trends to actively turn data into insightful information to support the business decision making process. They will work collaboratively within Friona Industries to identify best practices and monitor performance to formulate and establish company procedures. This position will be based in Amarillo, Texas. |

| Roles and Tasks |
- Evaluate and analyze large data sets, maintaining data integrity
- Identify business processes/procedures that can be improved
- Synthesize and interpret data inferences to others
- Assist in implementing operational strategies
- Operate in a team environment, across business departments
- Willingness and desire to spend time on site at cattle feeding facilities and in office setting
- Contribute to development of organizational strategic goals
- Manage, maintain, and communicate production forecasts
- Generate and reliably produce accurate reports
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work with Senior Analyst to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Assist with R&D projects
- Assist with projects as assigned by CFO
