Job Overview

We are looking for a Lead Business Development Representative to support the sales and business development function, and to build out a team to grow our outbound efforts and pipeline.  This role will start as an IC, but after proving themselves, they'll have the opportunity to build and grow their own team and department.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach out to prospects through outbound communication to generate interest.
  • This will include cold-calling and other outbound efforts to cold prospects
• Qualify leads to determine fit and readiness for the next stage of the sales process.
• Hand off qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales colleagues.
• Keep accurate records of prospect interactions and progress in HubSpot
• Share customer insights and feedback with the wider team.
• Work toward agreed targets for lead generation and opportunity creation.
• Once agreed-upon targets are hit, this role will be responsible for hiring and training other BDRs to grow this function

Skills & Tools

• Experience in sales, business development, or a related customer-facing area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and engage with prospects.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Comfort working toward targets and following up consistently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt based on feedback.
