Your role

As Head of Integration Platforms, you will lead a business-critical capability that enables secure and reliable information exchange across Saab. A central part of your mandate will be to drive the transformation from BizTalk to Azure Integration Services, while ensuring stable operations and continued development of capabilities such as API Management and SFTP. You are responsible for the performance, development and effectiveness of the area, including its people, platforms and services.

You will set the direction for Saab’s integration capabilities, drive platform modernisation and ensure that the integration landscape evolves in line with business needs, technology strategy and security requirements. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams and partners to enable scalable integration patterns, APIs and modern integration capabilities.

You will be part of the Core Enterprise Platforms and Applications management team. You will act as the bridge between your area, business stakeholders and vendors, creating alignment and ensuring that business priorities, technology initiatives and operational delivery move forward together. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will

• Lead, develop and engage employees within the area
• Set direction and priorities for the area in alignment with Saab’s business and technology strategies
• Drive the transformation from BizTalk to Azure Integration Services
• Ensure stable, secure and reliable operation of business-critical integration services
• Lead the development and lifecycle management of integration platforms and capabilities
• Drive scalable integration patterns, APIs and event-driven architectures
• Develop capabilities within API Management, SFTP and modern cloud-based integration
• Strengthen platform governance, standardisation and automation
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, vendors and partners
• Balance transformation, operational stability and changing business needs
• Take financial ownership of the area and contribute actively to the management team

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and technology insight.

You have experience leading teams and delivering results in complex IT environments while driving change and continuous improvement. You are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across functions.

You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you have a strong delivery focus and a passion for modern technologies and transformation.

Key qualifications and experience

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills
• Proven experience managing operational delivery and service performance
• Experience driving organisational and technology transformation in complex environments
• Experience leading integration transformation or platform modernisation
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture and integration patterns
• Experience with Azure Integration Services and cloud-based integration
• Good understanding of APIs, API Management and event-driven architectures
• Experience managing business-critical technology platforms and services
• Experience from the defence industry or other highly regulated and security-sensitive industries is considered an advantage
• Strong stakeholder, vendor and change management skills
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
