Accounts Receivable Lead

Our client, a well-established leader in the construction industry, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Lead to join their team in the Newmarket area.

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a respected contractor that has experienced steady growth over the past 7–10 years and continues to build on that success.

We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You'll need strong communication skills, particularly when following up on outstanding payments and dealing with vendors professionally and respectfully.

This is a long-term career opportunity with plenty of upside, offering the chance to grow alongside one of the GTA's exciting construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, match and organize invoices, purchase orders and packing slips.

• Enter invoices and coordinate approvals with Project Managers.

• Respond to vendor inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Prepare cash requirement reports, cheque runs and payment documentation.

• Reconcile accounts, including quarterly and year-end vendor reconciliations.

• Maintain outstanding invoice records, batch lists and finance charge logs.

• Provide occasional reception coverage and general accounting support.

• Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed.
