Patient Scheduling Coordinator

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Clay Cardiology

Schedule: Full - Time | 8am - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Coordinates and schedules patient medical services and referrals with external healthcare providers.
• Manages schedule changes and cancellations, ensuring proper approval is obtained.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date provider contact information.
• Ensures all appointment details, special instructions, and patient information are accurately entered into the electronic medical system.
• Adheres to site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation for compliance.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need

• Medical office experience including insurance and scheduling.
