Senior Application Engineer

Grow with us! We're looking for a Senior Application Engineer with expertise in Power Electronics, converter design, and hardware validation. Join us to shape innovative energy-efficient solutions. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role  Power switch sizing, validation and gate driver design for IGBTs and MOSFETs Strong experience in the areas of AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC power converters and inverters in low and medium voltage range Familiarity of converters for industry applications such as VFD, Renewables (Solar & Wind), train rolling stocks, EV etc.. Hands on experience in hardware design, prototyping and testing, troubleshooting and debugging Knowledge on passive components, magnetics, capacitors for switching applications Converter topologies and switching strategies such as PWM and SVPWM Familiarity of simulation software such as MATLAB, PSIM, SPICE, PLECS etc.. Experience on SIC devices and thermal design is plus Must have very good communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, hardware design, system and product development functions  Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed   M.Tech and 3+ years of hands-on experience in high-current, high voltage, highly efficient AC/DC DC/DC and DC/AC designs and LAB Testing In depth knowledge/experience in converter design and topologies Knowledge of power IGBT and it’s gate driver requirements and data sheet parameters and device spice modelling Familiar with Safety, EMC and IEC/UL standards associated with industry applications Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB, PLECS, SPICE In depth experience in driver design and electronics circuits associated with converter control Preparing test cases and test setups, usage of oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and measurement tools #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
