The Back Counter Parts Support role is a critical function within our service operation -- ensuring technicians have the parts they need to keep the shop productive, the repair orders moving, and the guest experience on track.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support service technicians at the back counter -- pulling, staging, and delivering parts to the shop floor accurately and efficiently

• Process parts requests from technicians -- looking up part numbers, verifying fitment, and sourcing from inventory or ordering as needed

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments -- verifying accuracy against purchase orders and processing inventory into the DMS

• Maintain bin organization, warehouse cleanliness, and parts inventory accuracy throughout the department

• Process warranty parts, cores, and returns per Mercedes-Benz OEM procedures and dealership standards

• Follow up on back-ordered and special-order parts -- communicating status updates to technicians and service advisors proactively

• Assist the front counter and parts manager with additional tasks as needed to keep the department running without interruption

• Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy across the parts operation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous parts counter, parts warehouse, or automotive service support experience preferred

• Mercedes-Benz or European luxury brand experience a strong plus -- familiarity with MBZ parts systems and OEM platforms is a significant advantage

• Detail-oriented and accurate -- parts errors slow down technicians and impact guest delivery times

• Comfortable with parts lookup systems and DMS platforms -- Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred

• Able to manage multiple technician requests simultaneously without losing accuracy or pace

• Physically capable of lifting, stocking, and moving parts throughout the shift

• Reliable, organized, and self-directed -- you take ownership of the back counter without needing constant oversight

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
