Veterinarian – Medical Director – Santa Cruz, CA
A growing veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to take on a medical leadership role within an expanding urgent care environment. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality urgent care and general medical services
- Lead and support the veterinary team in day-to-day clinical operations
- Mentor and develop veterinarians and support staff
- Establish and maintain high standards of patient care
- Help develop clinical workflows, protocols, and practice procedures
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
- Build strong relationships with clients and the surrounding community
- Participate in practice development and long-term growth initiatives
- Maintain compliance with applicable veterinary regulations and standards
What We’re Looking For
- DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- At least 3 years of veterinary experience
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Leadership or mentorship experience
- Ability to guide and support a veterinary team
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
