Senior Veterinarian / Medical Director

About the Opportunity
A growing veterinary practice in Framingham, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced veterinarian for a senior clinical leadership position. This opportunity is ideal for a DVM who wants to combine hands-on medicine with team leadership, mentorship, and practice development.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to help shape the medical direction and culture of a growing practice while working alongside an experienced support and management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of small animal cases.
- Establish and maintain strong clinical and patient-care standards.
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians and veterinary staff.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
- Collaborate with practice leadership on operational and clinical improvements.
- Help develop a strong client-focused culture and exceptional patient experience.
- Contribute to practice growth, strategic planning, and long-term development.
- Build strong relationships with clients and the surrounding community.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
- Active Massachusetts veterinary license in good standing.
- 4+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
- Strong background in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Collaborative and compassionate leadership style.
- Strong interest in practice development and long-term growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in taking an active role in the success of a practice.
