Senior Veterinarian – Practice Partner Opportunity – Rolesville, NC

 

A growing veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinarian to help launch, shape, and lead a new practice. This is an opportunity for a veterinarian who wants meaningful involvement in building a hospital from the ground up while maintaining clinical autonomy and providing high-quality, personalized patient care.

 

Responsibilities

• Help develop and launch a new veterinary practice.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate veterinary care to patients and their families.
• Establish clinical standards and workflows that support excellent patient care.
• Build a collaborative, supportive, and positive hospital culture.
• Lead and mentor the veterinary and support team.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and the local community.
• Help shape the practice's services, equipment, and medical capabilities based on community needs.
• Maintain medical autonomy while working with operational support to build a successful practice.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing the veterinary team.
• Support business and operational initiatives that contribute to practice growth.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable veterinary and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Perform other duties associated with establishing and leading the practice.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active veterinary license in good standing.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one, as required.
• Several years of experience practicing veterinary medicine.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Leadership or team-management experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor and develop veterinary professionals.
• Strong business awareness and interest in building a successful practice.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered veterinary medicine.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining clinical autonomy.
