Legal Advisor

Overview

This role will be fully responsible for assisting the VN Legal Lead in providing legal services for responsible plant. (Based in Ho Chi Minh)

Responsibilities

This role is legal business partner of the Ha Nam Plant of ~300 employees, mainly responsible for:- Legal research and general legal advice;- Contract review and approval for assigned departments;- Licensing and permitting;- Employment issues;- SOPs, guideline;- POA management;- Legal training + Compliance training;- Data Privacy contact point;- Legal admin work (legal filings, PR, PO, Payments, reports).

This role will also engage with BU Legal (Business Unit) to leverage legal best practice, conduct legal reporting.

Qualifications

 

• Legal qualification, minimum 5-7 years+ of experience in manufacturing environment

• Good legal knowledge and ability in contract review, legal drafting, legal research, legal advice;

• Ability to understand the business and balance business needs with legal and ethical obligations;

• Highly proactive; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Fluency in English & Vietnamese both spoken & written

• Strong Project Management and Negotiation Skills

• Demonstrate competency skills with the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing.
