Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Reports To: Assistant Manager – US Operations
Location: Billings, MT

Position Summary:

Western Builders Supply was organized in 1945 as a buying organization by a group of independent lumber yard owners. We sell a wide variety of products, but our focus is specialty construction screws and bits.

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager with previous experience to motivate employees and keep a steady flow of productivity. This position will ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by supervising employees and working to meet or exceed operational goals.

• Position is Salaried-Exempt
• Base schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30-5:00
• Weekend shifts and additional hours as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety standards and adapt training as needed
• Hiring, developing, and counseling of employees
• Ensure equipment maintenance stays on schedule
• Guide 3PL partners in packaging, shipping, logistics
• Create standard work for various roles throughout warehouse
• Open/Close warehouse at the beginning/end of shift
• Learn, implement, and utilize 5S and LEAN systems as part of daily management
• Lead by example
• Oversee inventory cycle counts and adjustments
• Investigate customer variance claims
• Prioritize workload and ensure employees are cross trained for flexibility
• Perform additional duties- (ie. pulling orders, stocking shelves, re-packaging product).
• Repeatedly lift up to 40lbs
• Must be able to be certified on forklift, stand up reach truck, electric pallet jacks and an order picker (Prior experience preferred)
• Must wear steel or composite toed shoes ($125 yearly reimbursement offered)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
