The Product Manager – Residential Power Generation Controls will lead the strategy and execution for next-generation residential control platforms with expanding integration into cloud-connected monitoring, interconnect coordination, and load management services. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle for embedded controls and their associated digital ecosystems—translating customer insights, regulatory requirements, and system-level needs into clear, actionable product and software specifications. We are seeking a technically strong product leader with proven experience defining requirements for connected control systems, particularly where physical hardware and cloud services intersect in residential-scale energy environments. Major Responsibilities

• Create and manage product roadmaps for individual product areas.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features.

• Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis.

• Assist in tracking product performance and identifying areas for enhancement.

• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on product updates.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or related field.

Work Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience including 1+ years of experience in product management or related fields.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Skilled in fostering team collaboration and driving results.

• focused on hands-on execution and operational management of a specific product area, laying the groundwork for broader product management responsibilities.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
