This Hybrid Role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in: Wayne, PA, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX or Charlotte, NC.
In this role, you will:
Build and mature Infrastructure as Code practices across Workplace platforms using Terraform and Atmos, enabling teams to manage systems “as code.”
Design and operate CI/CD pipelines (primarily GitHub Actions) aligned to GTO standards, including quality gates, promotion patterns, and deployment safety mechanisms.
Identify, evaluate, and operationalize Terraform providers and integrations for Workplace platforms; guide teams on provider usage, patterns, and lifecycle management.
Onboard platform teams to Terraform/Atmos and GitHub-based delivery, including repository structure, workflow templates, environment strategy, and guardrails.
Create shared automation frameworks and self-service tooling to reduce manual operational work and improve delivery speed and consistency.
Develop integrations and automation services using APIs and scripting (PowerShell/Python) across endpoint, mobility, VDI, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
Improve release quality and platform stability through automated validation, testing patterns, observability, and disciplined release governance.
Partner closely with platform engineers, security, infrastructure, and networking teams to embed automation-first practices and standard engineering patterns.
This role is also expected to challenge the status quo, drive process improvements, and champion a strong DevOps and engineering culture across Workplace Engineering.
Technical Requirements:
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Atmos, or similar frameworks).
Proficiency in software development
Experience integrating systems using REST APIs.
Solid understanding of Git-based workflows, code review, and reusable modules/templates.
Familiarity with monitoring, telemetry, and operational observability concepts.
Experience supporting enterprise endpoint or collaboration platforms is a plus (Windows, macOS, MDM, VDI, Microsoft 365).
What it takes:
Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3–5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, automation, or platform engineering roles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work across teams, influence standards, and enable others through documentation and coaching.
Willingness to be learn and work with various languages.
Strong planning, organization, and delivery discipline.
