Quality Senior Professional, Customer Compliance & QAAs

Location: Hyderabad, India

This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 40% of your time (two days per week).

 The actual location of this job is in Hyderabad, India. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. 

Intro Summary of the Role

The QA Expert Compliance ensures that quality agreements (QAAs) and related  processes meet regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements. It involves directly supporting the quality negotiations with global customers, and  alignment between internal stakeholders and customers. The position operates at a global support level while site specific additions and direct negotiations remain local.

What You Will Do

Supports and executes timely negotiations with global customers to define, align, and finalize Customer QAAs for LONZA

  • Ensures compliance with GMP and other relevant regulations as well as contractual requirements by maintaining up-to-date quality standards and procedures

  • Verifies that customer QAAs meet minimum LONZA QAA requirements

  • Serves as point of contact for internal stakeholders on all QAA-related matters

  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Quality, Operations, Commercial, and others to ensure consistency during implementation

  • Preparation and managing QAA updates including periodic reviews or withdrawal of QAAs

Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within quality compliance processes.

  • Analyzes current workflows and proposes optimizations to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround times

  • Supports the implementation of (digital) tools and automation following lean management

  • Provide the consistency between Lonza internal processes and commitments in QAAs

  • Collaborates with Global Quality and other sites to drive improvements, harmonize processes, and increase efficiency.

Provides expert guidance and knowledge sharing across the organization to strengthen compliance awareness.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on compliance-related topics for the business unit and other sites Manages TrackWise Records as required

Supports as a compliance representative in customer audits, inspections, and quality-related discussions as required
