Join Hitachi Energy as an Instructional Designer – NAM Training and Development and help shape the future of workforce development. In this role, you will create engaging, high-quality learning solutions that empower teams across the North American Transformers HUB. From dynamic presentations to interactive e-learning and multimedia content, your work will bring complex ideas to life and support operational excellence.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and training teams to transform technical knowledge into clear, accessible, and visually compelling learning experiences. How you'll make an impact
Design and develop engaging training materials including presentations, e-learning, and videos
Create storyboards, scripts, and interactive learning activities
Translate technical concepts into clear, learner-friendly content
Integrate multimedia elements to enhance engagement and retention
Ensure content meets accessibility and usability standards
Review and refine materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to improve learning outcomes
Stay current with emerging tools and instructional design trends
Your background
Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design or training development
Proficiency with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, iSpring)
Strong PowerPoint and visual storytelling skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with video or graphic design tools and LMS platforms is a plus
