Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Data Science Roadmap Ownership – own and orchestrate the end-to-end roadmap for TAIP’s advanced analytics capabilities, including automated, predictive, and AI-enabled solutions.  Define priority use cases, maturity stages, and value realization in partnership with TAIp leadership, Business Insights & Technology, and Data Science counterparts (e.g., DQS).  Ensure roadmap alignment to portfolio and trial decision points, not just tool delivery.

  • Analytical & Methodological Stewardship – own and govern the analytical methodologies underpinning TAIP deliverables across feasibility, site selection, enrollment forecasting, and portfolio insights.  Define when specific methods, metrics, or tools are appropriate, and when they are not.

  • Analytics Products, Platforms & Value Delivery – provide business ownership for analytics products used by TAIP (e.g., Photon, Comet), solutions are designed for automation, scalability, and reuse.  Translate business needs into analytically sound solution concepts and sense check technical proposals from IT or vendors.

  • Applied Data Science & Advanced Analytics Leadership – shape how predictive modeling, simulation, machine learning, and AI are responsibly applied within TAIP to inform trial and portfolio decisions. Partner with enterprise data science teams to define analytical approaches, success criteria, and validation expectations, while ensuring transparency, interpretability, and regulatory appropriateness.

  • Portfolio & Execution Decision Support – translate complex analytical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership forums. Ensure outputs answer the right business questions, at the right time, with appropriate confidence. Provide informed challenge when analytics risk being misapplied, over-interpreted or operationally misaligned.

  • Governance, Risk & Decision Integrity – act as a point of accountability for analytical integrity, escalation of risk, and limitation disclosure. Partner with relevant business stakeholders (e.g., Clinical operations, Biostatistics, Data Governance, etc.) to align methodologies and avoid parallel or conflicting standards. Clarify and align ownership boundaries to accelerate delivery and avoid rework.

  • Capability Building & Analytical Culture – mentor junior analysts and strategists to develop strong analytical judgment, methodological literacy, and confidence to challenge assumptions, tools, and stakeholders.  Promote a culture where clarity, transparency, and rigor are valued over speed or optics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant field

  • 10+ years of experience across clinical development, trial analytics, biostatistics, data governance, advanced trial analytics, or management consulting

  • Demonstrated experience working with data scientists, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled solutions, with the ability to translate business questions into analytically tractable problems.

  • Experience governing analytics platforms, tools, or data products in regulated or high-risk environments.

  • Strong understanding of predictive modeling, simulation, and/or machine learning concepts sufficient to challenge assumptions, evaluate limitations, and guide roadmap decisions.

  • Proven ability to act as a bridge between business stake and IT/data science teams, shaping solutions from concept through adoption.

  • Proven track record of driving adoption of new systems, methods, or reporting processes across large organizations.

  • Experience with enterprise analytics systems (Workbench, Performance Central, CTMS, etc.)

  • Strong documentation, communication, and decision-framing skills

  • Proven ability to lead teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and operate effectively across global functions

 Why Join This Team?
