Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Alarm Panel in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels, and use computer or tablet systems to document activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
