Quality Improvement Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will support physician enterprise quality and performance improvement initiatives, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and the advancement of evidence-based practices.

 

Every day you will collaborate on implementing quality strategies, monitor performance, and assist in driving initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across the Ambulatory Physician Enterprise.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong organizational skills, a foundational understanding of quality improvement and evidence-based practices, and the ability to effectively support initiatives, monitor performance, and contribute to patient safety and regulatory compliance within a physician enterprise.

• Facilitate teams for planning and development of clinical quality initiatives.
• Support development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of clinical quality initiatives.
• Provide reports on major variances, improvement opportunities, monitoring information, and quality indicators.
• Coordinate data submission to registry and regulatory bodies as required.
• Facilitate the integration of consistent quality and lean processes into all planning and problem-solving throughout the organization by promoting organizational learning and systems thinking.
• Collaborate with peers and service lines to determine data and system needs, identifying opportunities for synergy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two (2) years clinical, quality and/or relevant healthcare related experience

Preferred

• Master's Degree
• Certified Professional Health Care Quality
• Experience with performance improvement methodologies, tools, systems including LEAN methodology
