ACCIONA Infrastructure delivers major road, rail and civil works across regional Victoria, partnering with government and local communities to build lasting infrastructure. Our regional project teams are based on site, close to the communities they serve, delivering complex works safely and to a high standard.
About Opportunity
As Planner, you will develop, maintain and monitor project schedules that support safe, efficient delivery of regional infrastructure works. Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will work alongside project managers, engineers, construction teams and procurement to keep schedules accurate and aligned with approved scope, cost and risk assumptions. You will provide the schedule insight that informs decisions, supports on-time delivery and keeps every part of the project connected.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules
- Prepare baseline, look-ahead and recovery plans
- Integrate engineering, procurement and construction activities
- Track progress and flag variances, risks and issues early
- Assess critical path, float and schedule logic
- Coordinate updates with project managers and discipline specialists
- Feed schedule data into monthly and performance reports
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management
- Experience in a planning or scheduling role on construction projects
- Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and logic
- Confident communicator with strong analytical skills
