Job Description Summary
The Manager - Supply Chain Management (MAP) supports the Novartis Technical Operations Center– Supply Operations team in the coordination of various Supply Operations activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Regulatory requirements while creating value for our internal customers across all Novartis divisions across geographies
Job Description
Major accountabilities:
Responsible for the forecasting, demand & supply planning of assigned MAP supplies projects and compounds
Co-ordinate with different functions as per the project requirements and plan for required supplies
Budgets planning for Global Cohorts programs basis activities assumptions provided by program leads. Preparing RFQ as per requirement and sharing with External Service Provider for Quote, reviewing the quote and share the final proposal to program lead for approval
Managing inventory and distribution activities at External Service Provider and ensuring supplies as per agreed timelines.
Support SLA creation activities such as finalization of assumption in coordination with MAP lead and proposal deck preparation.
Execution of Global Cohort /PSDS Programs in coordination with Global MAP leads, ESP and carrying out labeling, packaging, storage and distribution as per participating countries demand.
Review of invoices received from ESP against the actual activity, highlight the discrepancies (if any) to ESP for revision/clarification or credit note
Prepare MAP supplies demand forecast and supply plan based on forecast provided by participating countries and share with GCS/NTO.
Lead the monthly meeting with MAP leads/ GCS / OMA for project status update and archive the monthly slide in designated folder
Ensure archival of all MAP Global Cohort/PSDS Program related documents in Novartis approved repository as per defined nomenclature to support audit readiness for MAP.
Essential requirements:
Scientific/Engineering/Supply Chain Degree.
At least 6 years of experience in supply chain management.
Advanced project and program management skills.
Able to influence different stakeholders at a global level.
PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) certification strongly preferred.
