Systems Administrator

Description

Quantum Sky is searching for a full-time Systems Administrator to join our growing Information Technology team in a hybrid capacity in our Plano, TX office. . This individual will design intuitive and user-centric experiences and information structures for a range of internal projects. As with all positions, we are seeking independent thinkers with creative problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for users both onsite and remotely.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets using our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
• User account management (for example, account creation, assigning permissions, or password resets)
• Provide training and support for end-users on various technologies and software.
• Collaborate with IT team members on system upgrades, installations, and other projects.
• Document procedures and create knowledge base articles to enhance the support process.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve support practices.
• Ability to work well with in a team environment
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

Required:

• US Citizen, No Sponsorship
• Experience with GCC High Azure
• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• CompTIA A+ Certified highly desired
• Basic understanding of scripting and automation.
• Troubleshooting and technical support experience.
• Customer service, listening and teamwork
• Empathy and being able to relate to the end-user.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and can work independently.
• Remote troubleshooting methodologies.

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $70,000-$80,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
