Description
Provide coaching, guidance, and project leadership to less experienced team members and agency partners, while contributing to the development of Consumer Insights best practices and capabilities. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external research partners, this individual will champion the voice of the consumer and translate data into compelling stories and recommendations. Demonstrated ability to uncover consumer insights that influence business decisions and drive growth. Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and their application to real business challenges. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for business partners. Experience managing consumer learning agendas across brands, innovation initiatives, or business challenges. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder needs. Proven ability to build productive relationships and influence cross-functional partners without direct authority. Curious, proactive mindset with a passion for understanding consumers and identifying growth opportunities. Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Develop and execute research plans using qualitative, quantitative, syndicated, and internal data sources. Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable business recommendations. Manage external research vendors, agencies, and study execution from design through reporting. Support development of consumer learning agendas for assigned brands and categories. Deliver clear and compelling presentations that bring consumer insights to life and influence action. Contribute to the development of best practices, tools, and approaches that strengthen the Consumer Insights function. Ability to achieve specific objectives/outcomes and set/meet key initiatives Ability to collaborate with internal co-workers to fulfill deliverables/commitments Manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-Starter / Work in a proactive and aggressive manner (Empowered to Make Decisions) Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Marketing, Consumer Insights, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Business, Statistics, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Analytics, or a related discipline. Experience leading both qualitative and quantitative research projects from design through implementation. Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple data sources into meaningful business insights. Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools. Domestic travel: 10-20% Ability to be in-office five days a week
