Mission Brief
We are looking for a Head of HR Business Partnering to lead our HRBP function in a fast-changing aerospace environment.
Leading a team of HR Business Partners, you will work closely with senior leaders on organizational design, workforce strategy, manager quality, FTE planning, and restructuring. This role is critical in evolving HR Business Partnering from People Support to Organizational Architects with long-term ownership across org design, leadership effectiveness, and workforce planning.
We are looking for someone who has built structure in fast-paced, high-growth or startup environments, but who also knows how to operate effectively in organizations with stronger processes, governance, and execution discipline. We are looking for a leader who operates with the same mindset: ambitious, pragmatic, energetic, and able to create clarity and structure in environments that are demanding, dynamic, and constantly evolving.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners
- Partner with business leaders on organizational design, restructuring, and workforce strategy
- Improve manager quality through coaching, performance management, and hiring discipline
- Drive FTE planning and support workforce budget decisions
- Shape effective organizations by addressing team topology, spans and layers, and structural bottlenecks
- Ensure strong communication cascades and leadership alignment during periods of change and transformation
- Partner across multiple countries and provide HRBP guidance in an international business environment
- Bring sound judgment on country-specific labor law considerations and work effectively across different legal and cultural contexts
Qualification Checklist
- Strong experience in HR Business Partnering leadership
- 5-6+ years of people leadership experience
- Proven track record in organizational design, workforce planning, and restructuring
- Experience supporting leaders and organizations across multiple countries, ideally including markets such as Norway, Sweden, Germany, Canada, and others
- Strong understanding of labor law frameworks and the ability to navigate country-specific people matters in partnership with relevant experts
- Experience in both startup or build environments and more scaled, structured organizations
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge and support leaders effectively
- High level of resilience, judgment, and execution strength
- Workday experience is required
- Fluent English language skills; French, Norwegian, Swedish language skills is a plus
