FOX Corporation is looking for a Facilities Technician to join our New York facilities team. In this role, you will help keep our offices, conference spaces, and employee areas running smoothly by handling day-to-day repairs, maintenance requests, room set-ups, and proactive walkthroughs across the workplace.
You are a hands-on problem-solver with strong handyman experience and a service-first approach. You are comfortable troubleshooting facilities issues, making minor repairs, coordinating with internal vendors, and keeping spaces safe, functional, and ready for employees, guests, and business needs.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Replace LED and fluorescent bulbs throughout office and shared spaces
- Replace batteries and solenoids in automated faucets
- Replace P-traps, faucet bodies, and related restroom or pantry plumbing components
- Repair or replace flushometer parts
- Perform minor wall repair, patching, and touch-up painting
- Perform proactive daily walkthroughs of all assigned spaces to identify, report, and resolve facilities issues
- Coordinate with locksmiths on lock core change-outs, new lock installations, and key duplicates
- Contact and coordinate with in-house vendors, including ADCO and Lacor, for HVAC adjustments, ballast changes, breaker resets, and other building support needs
- Troubleshoot ice and water machines
- Troubleshoot sit/stand power desks and related workstation issues
- Troubleshoot door closers, door handles, and related hardware adjustments
- Change water filters as needed
- Set up and break down tables, chairs, and room layouts for Conference Center meetings and events
- Respond to facilities requests in a timely, professional, and service-oriented manner
- Support additional facilities responsibilities as business needs arise
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Hands-on facilities, maintenance, building services, or handyman experience
- Experience troubleshooting office equipment or building-related issues
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, hardware, and general repair work
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues before they become larger problems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to report issues clearly and promptly
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, guests, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently while also partnering closely with team members and vendors
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a busy corporate office environment
- Flexibility to support conference room set-ups, urgent facilities needs, and changing business priorities
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- Experience in a corporate office, media, hospitality, property management, or high-traffic facilities environment
- Familiarity with automated faucets, flushometers, water filtration systems, HVAC vendor coordination, and office furniture systems
- Basic knowledge of work order systems or facilities ticketing platforms
- Trade school, technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $33.66-40.87 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
