DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Internal and External Reporting and Models, located in Raynham, MA; West Chester, PA; or Raritan, NJ. This position follows a hybrid work model and requires regular onsite presence at one of these locations.
This senior leadership role will own the strategy, governance, and delivery of internal and external reporting, financial models, and executive insights for DePuy Synthes. The Senior Manager will ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, audit-ready, and aligned to business priorities while advancing scalable analytics and automation. This role is especially important as DePuy Synthes prepares to operate as a standalone orthopedics company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the reporting and modeling roadmap, prioritizing work that improves business performance, compliance, decision support, and separation readiness.
- Own the design, delivery, and governance of internal and external reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, and financial, operational, and analytical models.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, consistent, traceable, and aligned to corporate, regulatory, audit, and stakeholder requirements.
- Translate complex data into concise, executive-ready insights, recommendations, and presentations for senior leaders and business partners.
- Partner with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Technology, and other teams to align definitions, data sources, priorities, and delivery plans.
- Establish data-quality standards, controls, documentation, and model-governance practices that support sustainable, audit-ready reporting.
- Drive automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement to reduce manual effort and improve speed, transparency, and scalability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, or a related field required.
- MBA, MS in Analytics, Finance, or related advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in reporting, analytics, financial modeling, finance, or related discipline, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Strong business acumen and analytical judgment, with the ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
- Experience leading teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Required data modeling skills and ability to architect scalable business intelligence and reporting solutions, including semantic models, governed data definitions, and reusable reporting layers.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and present clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience in regulated, public-company, SOX, or audit-sensitive reporting environments.
- Proven ability to deliver executive-level reporting, governed data definitions, and scalable analytical solutions in a complex organization.
- Experience leading transformation, automation, reporting standardization, or separation-readiness initiatives.
- MedTech, healthcare, or similarly regulated industry experience preferred.
Other:
- English proficiency required.
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
- CPA, CFA, or similar certification preferred but not required.
