THE POSITION

The Manager – Leadership, Learning & Culture is responsible for advancing organizational culture, leadership capability and employee development through the design and delivery of high-impact programs and experiences. This role partners with leaders and HR team members to translate business priorities into practical leadership, learning and culture solutions that strengthen organizational effectiveness and employee experience. The Manager will report to the Senior Manager – Talent & Organizational Effectiveness and will lead a team of Learning and Development professionals.

This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, organizational development expertise, strong facilitation capability and exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have a unique ability to flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Culture Management & Leadership Development

• Partner with the Senior Manager – Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness to develop and execute Keyera’s Leadership Development Strategy, culture roadmap, translating strategic priorities and desired culture attributes into actionable plans
• Partner with leaders and HR Business Partners to identify critical leadership capabilities, culture opportunities and design interventions that strengthen organizational health and effectiveness
• Develop opportunities to embed desired culture through leadership development programs / practices and employee experiences
• Monitor culture trends, insights and organizational needs to inform priorities and continuously evolve the culture strategy
• Build leader and employee engagement around culture priorities and facilitate meaningful dialogue and facilitate highly engaging leadership development workshops, learning experiences and team effectiveness sessions for leaders at various levels across the organization
• Evaluate program effectiveness, monitor best practices to ensure continuous improvement of offerings

Team Effectiveness

• Act as an internal consultant to teams and leaders on organizational and team effectiveness
• Diagnose team dynamics, identifying opportunities and barriers to performance
• Design and facilitate customized team effectiveness interventions, including team alignment, ways of working, team norms, trust, communication and accountability.
• Build practical tools and approaches that enable leaders to independently strengthen team effectiveness   

 Learning Programs Management

• Manage the learning and development portfolio, ensuring effective planning, execution, communication and evaluation
• Oversee learning program logistics, vendors, budgets, technology and participant experience
• Ensure learning programs align with organizational priorities and evolving capability needs

Employee Resource Groups & Inclusion

• Support the strategy, governance and effectiveness of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
• Partner with ERG leaders to establish priorities, build capabilities, and increase organizational impact
• Support inclusion focused learning, events, and leadership experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business psychology or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in leadership development, organizational development, learning, culture, or a related field
• 5 years progressive leadership experience developing agile, robust teams
• Previous experience leading and developing learning & development Teams
• Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs and organizational interventions
• Strong consulting and facilitation skills; ability to work with executives, leaders and teams
• Experience managing vendor programs and budgets
• Excellent project management, communication, stakeholder management skills
