Are you a sales leader who thrives on building teams, growing client relationships, and turning great ideas into thriving spaces? Bachman’s is looking for Sales Manager to lead sales growth across Exterior Landscape, Garden Maintenance, and Interior Landscape.

In this role, you’ll lead and develop a talented sales and design team, strengthen long-term client partnerships, and turn opportunities into smart, profitable solutions. You’ll bring strategy and structure to the sales process, from pipeline development and CRM visibility to compelling proposals, while ensuring every project reflects Bachman’s commitment to exceptional design, service, and value.

Position Duties:

• Lead sales performance across Exterior Landscape, Garden Maintenance, and Interior Landscape.
• Manage pipeline reviews, lead assignments, proposal support, pricing approvals, CRM/order accuracy, customer escalations, and coaching on active opportunities.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop sales/design team members.
• Set expectations, hold regular one-on-one meetings, and provide timely feedback.
• Foster a professional culture centered on accountability, service, quality, and profitable growth.
• Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans, including client retention, business development, referral growth, seasonal programs, commercial account development, and strategic customer outreach.
• Partner with operations, procurement, design, and office teams to ensure sold work is feasible, properly priced, accurately documented, and delivered to Bachman’s quality standards.
• Use sales reporting, forecasting, commission review, budget input, pricing discipline, margin analysis, and performance metrics for leadership review.
• Represent the department with key customers, vendors, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.

• 3 years’ experience in sales, with a history of driving revenue growth and leading teams
• 4 years’ experience in horticulture, landscape design/build, garden maintenance, interior landscape, commercial account development, or a related service-based industry preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
• Sound business judgment and disciplined use of CRM and business systems, paired with the ability to coach a team to measurable results
• Strong financial acumen, including proposal and contract review, pricing strategy, and margin analysis
• Ability to collaborate effectively across operations, procurement, marketing, finance, HR, vendors, and customers

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Saturday hours may be required during peak season or events.
 

Compensation: $70k-$80k + incentive
