## Key Responsibilities
🔹 1\. ESG Strategy & Implementation
Support the development and execution of ESG strategy aligned with business and project goals. Assist in integrating sustainability practices into building, construction, and commissioning of greenfield facilities and implementation in operation. Identify ESG risks and opportunities and support mitigation planning.
## 🔹 2\. Greenfield Project Sustainability Integration
Ensure ESG requirements are embedded in site selection, engineering development, utilities, water, energy, waste, and contractor management. Participate in development reviews for ZLD, energy efficiency, green building (LEED), and carbon reduction initiatives. Support sustainability inputs for environmental clearances and compliance documentation.
## 🔹 3\. Environmental & EHS Performance Management
Conduct environmental impact assessments and sustainability audits. Monitor important measures such as energy consumption, water balance and recycling, waste management (hazardous and non-hazardous), and greenhouse gas emissions. Support the implementation of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 systems and CER projects related to Environment, Health, and Safety.
## 🔹 4\. ESG Reporting & Compliance
Collect, analyze, and maintain ESG data for reporting and disclosures using AI-Enabled, AI-Assisted, and AI-Augmented reporting tools.. Support preparation of ESG reports (GRI / SASB / TCFD / BRSR), regulatory submissions, and customer sustainability questionnaires. Ensure compliance with local regulations and global reporting standards.
## 🔹 5\. Cross-functional Coordination
Work with Project, Facilities, EHS, Procurement, and Operations teams. Support vendor & contractor ESG compliance, especially during the construction phase. Engage collaborators for ESG initiatives and awareness.
## 🔹 6\. Decarbonization & Resource Efficiency
Find opportunities for energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, water stewardship and reuse systems, circular economy, and waste minimization. Support carbon footprint assessment and reduction initiatives.
## 🔹 7\. Continuous Improvement & Benchmarking
Stay updated on ESG regulations, trends, and semiconductor industry standard methodologies. Benchmark site performance against industry standards. Support ESG target setting and tracking of important metrics.
## Qualifications & Experience
🔹 Education
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, EHS, or related field.
## 🔹 Experience
2–4 years of relevant experience in Sustainability, ESG, EHS roles. Experience in the manufacturing or semiconductor industry is preferred. Experience in greenfield or large project environments is highly desirable.
## Key Skills
🔹 Technical Skills
ESG frameworks, environmental compliance & regulations, carbon accounting & sustainability metrics, data analysis & reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ESG software), bringing AI to bear for sustainability metrics.
## 🔹 Functional Skills
Project coordination (especially greenfield execution), collaborator management, strong analytical & problem-solving skills, documentation and reporting.
## 🔹 Behavioral Skills
High ownership and attention to detail, ability to work cross-functionally, strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred (Benefit)
Experience in semiconductor fabs, chemicals, pharma, LEED / IGBC / green building certifications, water management systems (STP/ETP/ZLD), knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA).
## Typical Deliverables
ESG dashboards & benchmark reports, sustainability strategy inputs for project lifecycle, regulatory compliance documentation, ESG disclosures & audit preparation.
