About the Role
At Team Global Express, we're looking for a commercially minded and analytically driven Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Parcels Finance team. In this role, you'll transform complex financial, customer and operational data into meaningful insights that help drive revenue growth, improve forecasting accuracy and support better business decisions across our Air, Road and Courier businesses.
Working closely with Finance, Sales and operational stakeholders, you'll play a key role in forecasting, performance reporting, commercial analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, helping shape the future success of one of Australia's leading logistics businesses.
What You'll Do
Deliver insightful commercial analysis on revenue, volume and business performance trends.
Develop and maintain forecasting models, providing accurate and commercially relevant insights.
Analyse customer, product and sales performance to identify growth opportunities and risks.
Support budgeting, quarterly forecasting and strategic planning activities.
Prepare executive-level reporting, presentations and performance reviews.
Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Pricing, Operations and BI teams to influence decision-making.
Investigate business and data trends, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Drive process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities and reporting efficiencies.
Support tender, pricing and commercial review activities with robust financial and analytical input.
What You'll Bring
Experience in commercial, financial, business or sales analytics.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into clear business insights.
Advanced Excel skills, including modelling, data manipulation and reporting.
Experience with Power BI and dashboard development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
A proactive, curious and solutions-focused mindset.
Experience working with large datasets, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting.
A passion for continuous improvement, automation and driving better business outcomes.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
