Essential Functions: The Market Access and Growth Lead supports the executive leadership team to promote targeted, consistent growth at the hospital by building regional relationships as directed by the executive team and organizational strategic plans. Supports the organization's retention efforts through communication of community and internal physician concerns as they relate to hospital operations and physician alignment. Supports the onboarding of newly employed and affiliated physicians to the hospital by helping them grow their practice.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
5 years in business development, healthcare sales, and networking, five of those being in a multi-site healthcare organization.
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen. Some basic contract/legal experience is a plus.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- An understanding of the practice of medicine including physician practice operations and challenges, payer requirements and other economic and clinical influences.
- Computer Skills - Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Self-starter, results oriented, strong balance between process/results.
- Ability to be detail-minded while also capable of seeing the big picture, enjoy hands-on data analysis, attentive to deadlines and changing priorities.
- Plan, organize, document, and manage performance goals within prescribed timeframes (prioritize and focus).
- Identify and respond proactively to primary client/customer needs with the amount of detail needed to achieve resolution (service orientation).
- Present, probe, persuade and actively listen to physician/practice needs and create an intelligent response that will build trust, drive loyalty and result in sustained growth.
- Proven ability to achieve targets independently with minimal oversight.
- Capable of dealing with stress; able maintain an organized “mobile office”.
