The SVP of Transfer Agency Operations is accountable for the overall performance, governance, and strategic direction of the Transfer Agency function across multiple regions. The role requires balancing operational
excellence, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, talent development, financial management, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
Operational Excellence
• Drive productivity, quality, and turnaround time improvements.
• Implement automation and process optimization initiatives.
• Establish and monitor global KPIs, SLAs, and performance scorecards.
• Ensure operational resilience through business continuity planning.
• Deliver measurable efficiency and cost-saving outcomes.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Maintain governance and control frameworks across all TA locations.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS, and regulatory reporting oversight.
• Act as key contact for regulators, auditors, and compliance stakeholders.
• Promote proactive risk identification and remediation.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Act as senior escalation point for strategic clients.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Compliance, and Relationship teams.
• Lead service improvement initiatives.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and governance meetings.
People Leadership
• Lead geographically dispersed teams.
• Build a high-performance and accountable culture.
• Drive talent development and succession planning.
• Develop future-ready capabilities through reskilling initiatives.
Change & Transformation
• Sponsor and oversee strategic change programs.
• Lead technology implementations and operating model enhancements.
• Establish governance, milestones, and resource plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of transformation outcomes.
Financial & Resource Management
• Own operational budgets and cost management.
• Drive automation and consolidation opportunities.
• Lead workforce planning and forecasting.
• Balance service quality with efficiency objectives.
