Finning is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team in Fort McMurray. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting equipment repair and maintenance activities by coordinating work orders, managing documentation, tracking project progress, and ensuring clear communication between internal teams and customers.

Job Description:
What You'll Do
- Coordinate maintenance and repair administrative activities from service request through to work order completion.
- Review service requests to ensure scope, budget, and scheduling requirements are clearly defined.
- Verify customer account details, credit approvals, service history, and applicable support programs.
- Track repair progress and provide updates to key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each work order.
- Attend planning, scheduling, and job review meetings, documenting action items and maintaining project timelines.
- Identify and communicate potential risks, delays, budget variances, and rework concerns.
- Coordinate site access requirements and training clearances for service technicians.
- Monitor documentation requirements, including service reports, labour entries, billing information, parts returns, and supporting paperwork.
- Support work order closeout activities and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with operations, service, parts, and administrative teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Business, Administration, Accounting, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience in a Service Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Field Administrator, Site Administrator, or similar administrative role.
- Strong understanding of project coordination principles, including scheduling, budgeting, communication, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems.
- Experience supporting maintenance, construction, mining, oil and gas, forestry, marine, heavy equipment, or dealership operations is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of document control, billing processes, work orders, and repair administration is an advantage.
