We’re representing a fast-growing healthcare technology company building an AI-powered network connecting doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma companies to help patients access new medicines more efficiently.

The platform automates the complex workflows that happen between a physician prescribing a medication and a patient beginning treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply-chain navigation. The service is provided free to doctors and patients.

The platform already supports patients across more than 85% of U.S. ZIP codes and partners with 9 of the world's 15 largest biopharma companies. The company has raised more than $300M and is scaling rapidly through organic adoption.

What You Will Do

• Build products across the full stack using Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Own significant areas of the product and drive technical roadmaps toward measurable outcomes.
• Lead zero-to-one product development, taking ideas from initial definition through production launch.
• Build features end-to-end across frontend, backend, system design, testing, and debugging.
• Decode complex healthcare workflows involving insurance, affordability, prescription fulfillment, and external systems.
• Build AI-powered experiences for patients, physicians, and biopharma partners.
• Apply AI and ML to problems involving document classification, data extraction, and unstructured information.
• Participate directly in client engagements to understand real-world requirements and translate them into product solutions.
• Own projects from problem definition through implementation, launch, and measurable impact.
• Improve engineering processes, internal tooling, and systems as both the codebase and engineering organization scale.
• Work with messy real-world data and integrations rather than operating within perfectly structured technical environments.

Ideal Background

• Targeting 8+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful experience shipping products at scale.
• Strong general programming ability and computer science fundamentals.
• Broad full-stack engineering capabilities rather than a narrow frontend, backend, or infrastructure specialization.
• Experience building and shipping products at fast-growing, product-driven technology companies.
• Demonstrated ability to own substantial projects or product areas from definition through production.
• Strong track record of zero-to-one product development.
• Comfortable moving between frontend, backend, system design, debugging, and testing as the problem requires.
• Experience working with messy, real-world or unstructured data and/or complex external-system integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers and participating in technical product discussions.
• Track record of moving quickly, taking ownership, and finding ways to ship through difficult or ambiguous problems.
• Strong reputation among former teammates and evidence of being a highly effective collaborator.

Preferred

• Experience with Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and/or Kubernetes.
• Hands-on AI/ML product experience rather than experience limited primarily to AI infrastructure or tooling.
• Experience with document classification or unstructured data extraction.
• Experience building RAG, question-answering, or other AI-powered product systems.
• RPA or web-scraping experience used to automate workflows across third-party platforms.
• Experience building integrations with complex external systems.
• Experience with predictive or simulation modeling using messy real-world datasets.
• Healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, or similarly workflow-heavy industry experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience in an environment where engineers have substantial product ownership and work directly with customers.

Compensation and Benefits and Other Things

• Base salary: $170,000–$300,000.
• Equity included.
• Full-time, in-person role based in SoHo, New York City with no hybrid flexibility.
• Candidates willing to relocate can be considered.

Range: $170,000-$300,000 base.
