What you will do

This position will support the Payroll GPO Organization within the region in scope.

Resource is responsible to be the trusted advisor to the service delivery organization, understanding their needs, translating them into business cases and overseeing the execution of projects for the existing solution landscape. This role will also manage the stabilization, anchoring and adoption of the new global solution for the deployed countries identifying potential process improvements and

opportunities in the solution and managing the relationship between the GPO Organization, the Payroll service delivery organization, the new Payroll vendor, IT and other stake holders.

This position will:

  • Partner with local country teams as well as the business architecture leads in process improvement and implementation strategies for the payroll teams relating to Salesforce, Workday, ADP, SAPtime, eTime and other strategic tools and Third-Party Vendors (TPV). Takes direction and participates as a part of the payroll global solutions organization.
  • Partner with countries within the region and Global cross functional teams to support project requirements based on these key initiatives and strategies. Interacts as regional responsible person towards the global process on budget requests and project reporting
  • Ensure the successful adoption and stabilization of the new solution by the service delivery organization and IT teams.
  • Create regional roadmaps and offer support to the country payroll teams.
  • Understand the Payroll business process, how the solutions fulfills those requirements and identify any improvement opportunity leveraging on emerging technologies, market experience and intelligent automation.

Other key expectations:

  • Innovation – Maintain a continual focus on opportunities to innovate, independently research new processes leveraging strategic technologies.
  • Project Leadership – Create detailed project plans, understand multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile, manage project’s tasks and efforts including in all milestones, resources, finances, and status reporting.
  • Contractor Management – Manage allocated contractor resources and confirm communication of tasks and monitor and manage performance. Partner with Third Party Vendors to deliver solutions on budget and on time.
  • Technology Expertise – Not only understand emerging technologies empowering abilities to execute more efficiently, but train and research to demonstrate an expertise in these technologies.
  • Metric Reporting – Research industry best practice KPI’s and benchmarks. Create and present best in class dashboards depicting regional initiatives, strategies, and challenges.
  • Roadmap Strategy – Understand the region’s policies and regulations to manage intake for preparing long and short-term regional initiative roadmaps.
  • Global and Regional Interaction – This position will focus on 100% international interaction for the countries within region and other stakeholders globally.

As a senior-level contributor and subject matter expert, position holder is expected to perform tasks related to project management and oversight as well as providing status and analysis. Contribute to the identification, development, implementation, and communication of optimization of practices, policies, and/or procedures. Required to work independently and may assist in specialized assignments.

Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed individual objectives, adhere to payroll goals and align with service center compliance strategies.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in Payroll Operations, Payroll Transformation, Payroll Technology, HR Systems, or related functions.
  • Proven experience managing complex regional or global projects, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, controls, compliance requirements, and service delivery models.
  • Hands-on experience working with payroll and HR technology platforms such as Workday, ADP, Salesforce, SAP Time, eTime, or similar solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions and process improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across global, regional, and local organizations.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, consultants, and external service providers.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with experience working in highly international and cross-cultural teams.
