The Team:
ECM is a global team of more than 100 professionals responsible for the efficient and prudent management of the Corporation's as well as its subsidiaries' capital across the enterprise globally. ECM implements the Board’s capital management strategy including issuance, redemption or repurchase of common stock and other capital instruments. ECM works closely with lines of business and guides them to manage the enterprise’s capital including design and implementation of capital allocation methodologies efficiently and proactively. ECM also recommends capital related financial resource limits to senior management.
In addition, ECM produces and monitors regulatory and internal economic capital metrics including capital adequacy ratios, leverage exposure and risk-weighted assets and oversees the end-to-end capital measurement process across the enterprise. Partnering with other control functions, ECM manages external disclosures related to capital management including 10Q, 10K, Pillar 3 disclosures and other regulatory filings. ECM interfaces with banking regulators globally on all capital related matters.
Role Description:
This job is responsible for capital reporting and analytics, including calculating risk-weighted assets, measuring and monitoring Global Systematically Important Bank (G-SIB) scores, developing reports for Lines of Business (LOB) stakeholders, and implementing new models. Key responsibilities may also include developing LOB capital forecasts and producing peer analytics and impact assessments for new transactions, products and proposed rule changes.
Responsibilities:
Annual review and update of legal entity Capital Management Policies and Pillar 3 Disclosure Policies for material EMEA legal entities
Deliver annual Pillar 3 disclosure reports for material EMEA legal entities, include co-ordination across working group level and preparation of governance materials
Single Process Inventory (SPI) delegate for two SPIs, ensuing ongoing review and updates and tracking progress against CFO’s automation goals
Responsible for the team’s monthly supervisory review process, encompassing status all key controls, risks and issues
Responsible for compliance with relevant internal policies including Financial Regulatory Reporting, Risk Data Aggregation, Model Policies and ongoing maintenance of desktop procedures
Team co-ordinator for Issues Management, including internal reporting on issues
Supporting ICAAP delivery management for material EMEA legal entities
