Job Summary:

This position will coordinate the day-to-day implementation of a two-year, externally funded research project in organizational behavior. Working closely with the principal investigators and research team, the Research Coordinator will support an archival research study and a large-scale online field experiment.

Primary responsibilities will include coordinating study timelines and data-collection; preparing and maintaining IRB submissions, amendments, and research documentation; coordinating participant recruitment and payments; supporting the development, pretesting, piloting, and launch of research materials; maintaining organized study data and materials; and implementing quality-control procedures. The Research Coordinator will also coordinate research-assistant workflows and assist with data management, cleaning, documentation, and preparation of research reports and other outputs as needed.

This is a terminal, part-time position that will end April 30, 2028. 25% FTE through April 30, 2027, and 12.5% FTE through April 30, 2028.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with conducting experiments or interviews, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting results according to established protocols

• Maintains organization of research records according to established policies and procedures

• Assists in composing and organizing research reports and manuscripts to provide updates on unit objectives

• Tracks supply and equipment inventory levels and places replenishment orders

• Schedules logistics and secures resources for research supplies, equipment, and facilities

Compensation:

The minimum hourly rate for this position is $33 per hour.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating or supporting research projects

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and project details independently

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate research records and documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with faculty, students, and other members of a research team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with human-subjects or behavioral/social-science research

• Experience preparing or maintaining IRB materials

• Experience with online survey or research platforms such as Qualtrics or Prolific

• Experience with research data management, cleaning, or quality-control procedures

• Experience coordinating the work of research assistants

• Experience with statistical software such as R, Stata, SPSS, or similar software

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
