Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers to support our growing Propane & Butane operation serving Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, and surrounding regional markets.

$1,300–$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings. $0.70–$0.75 CPM. Paid loading and unloading. Home weekly.

Our regional operation primarily runs through Scio, Ohio; Proctor, West Virginia; and Moundsville, West Virginia, providing specialized propane and butane freight for professional drivers ready to put their experience to work.

Immediate openings are available for qualified drivers.

Compensation

Average Gross Weekly Earnings: $1,300–$2,500+

• $0.70–$0.75 CPM, based on experience
• Paid loading and unloading with per-gallon pumping pay
• Night-out stipend

Actual earnings vary based on mileage, pumping pay, detention, routes, availability, freight volume, and seasonal demand.

Home Weekly — Regional Operation

This is a regional propane and butane position with weekly home time—not a long-haul job that keeps you away for weeks at a time.

• Home every week
• Typical schedule of approximately 5 days on the road followed by 2 days home
• Regional operation serving Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, and surrounding markets
• One weekend day availability required
• Consistent work during peak propane season

What You'll Do

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075)
• Deliver throughout Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, and surrounding regional service areas
• Operate primarily through Scio, OH; Proctor, WV; and Moundsville, WV
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete electronic logs and shipping documentation
• Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards, and required PPE
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire
• Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire; combined X endorsement accepted
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Safe driving record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumping equipment, valves, and required PPE, including face shields and cold-weather protective equipment
• Commitment to safe, professional operation

Tanker Experience

Experience hauling propane, butane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuel, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required.

Drivers with transferable tanker experience are encouraged to apply.
