Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Propane & Butane Division serving Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding regional markets.

$1,300–$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings. $0.70–$0.75 CPM. Paid loading and unloading. Home weekly.

This is specialized regional tanker work hauling propane and butane (UN1075) with strong earning potential, professionally maintained equipment, experienced operational support, and weekly home time.

Compensation

Average Gross Weekly Earnings: $1,300–$2,500+

• $0.70–$0.75 CPM, based on experience

Actual earnings vary based on experience, mileage, pumping pay, detention, night-out compensation, availability, freight volume, and seasonal demand.

Home Weekly — Regional Operation

This is a regional propane and butane position with weekly home time—not a long-haul job that keeps you away for weeks at a time.

• Home every week
• Typical schedule of approximately 5 days on the road followed by 2 days home
• Regional operation serving Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding markets
• One weekend day availability required
• Steubenville-area operating market
• Consistent work during peak propane season

What You'll Do

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075)
• Deliver throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding regional markets
• Load from regional supply terminals including Coshocton, Scio and Jewett, Ohio, and Proctor and Moundsville, West Virginia
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD records and shipping documentation
• Properly manage tanker hoses, valves, placarding, and required PPE
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire
• Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire; combined X endorsement accepted
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumping equipment, and required PPE

Tanker Experience

Experience hauling propane, butane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required.

Drivers with transferable tanker experience are encouraged to apply.
