About Corgi
Corgi is building the infrastructure for the next generation of insurance. We are a technology company using AI, automation, and modern infrastructure to rethink how insurance is built, distributed, and operated.
We are a fast-moving company where teams are expected to take ownership, move quickly, and constantly improve how we do things.
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to own and improve Corgi's paid advertising engine.
This is not a social media manager role or traditional brand marketing position. We need someone who understands paid acquisition and enjoys looking at the numbers, identifying what is working, and continuously optimizing performance.
Ideally, you can also design the ads yourself rather than relying entirely on outside designers.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance and creative development of Corgi's paid advertising campaigns.
You will work across the full advertising cycle:
Create → Launch → Measure → Optimize → Test → Scale
You will analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities, develop new creative, run experiments, and continuously improve cost per lead and overall acquisition performance.
This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who wants to actually get into the ad platforms, build campaigns, design creative, read the data, and figure out what works.
What You'll Do
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Monitor campaign performance, budgets, conversion rates, cost per lead, and other key acquisition metrics.
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data.
- Develop and test new ad concepts, messaging, formats, audiences, and landing-page approaches.
- Design advertisements and other marketing creative yourself.
- Create variations of existing creative to systematically test different hooks, headlines, visuals, layouts, and calls to action.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and diagnose why they are underperforming.
- Scale campaigns and creative that are producing strong results.
- Build structured A/B testing programs.
- Track performance and maintain clear reporting on what is working and what is not.
- Work with the broader Corgi team to improve the path from advertisement → lead → customer.
- Analyze lead quality, not simply lead volume.
- Help develop a repeatable creative testing and optimization process.
- Research competitors and advertising trends for ideas worth testing.
- Stay current on changes to advertising platforms, targeting capabilities, attribution, and creative best practices.
- Coordinate with outside vendors when additional production or specialized expertise is needed.
What We're Looking For
We're less concerned with whether your previous title was "Performance Marketing Manager" and more concerned with whether you know how to make advertising work.
You should have:
- Experience running or optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns.
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort working with performance data.
- A/B testing experience and an understanding of conversion optimization.
- Experience with Meta Ads and/or Google Ads.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to look at campaign data and turn it into concrete action.
- An understanding of how creativity affects advertising performance.
- Strong visual and design instincts.
- The ability to create, modify, and iterate on advertising creative yourself.
- A highly iterative mindset—you should naturally want to test version B when version A works.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and experiments simultaneously.
Ideally, You Can Also:
- Work comfortably in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
- Edit short-form video for advertisements.
- Build landing pages or work with someone who does.
- Understand basic attribution and conversion tracking.
- Work with pixels, events, UTMs, and analytics platforms.
- Understand direct-response advertising and lead generation.
- Have experience with financial services, insurance, technology, or other performance-driven businesses.
- Have experience taking a campaign from initial concept through significant scale.
What This Role Is Not
This is not:
- Influencer marketing.
- Community management.
- PR.
- Brand partnerships.
- A role primarily focused on organic social media.
- A role where an agency does all of the advertising work for you.
We are specifically looking for someone who wants to own paid acquisition performance and creative optimization.
Why Corgi
You will have significant ownership over a critical part of the business.
There is no enormous marketing department or rigid corporate structure between you and the results. If you have an idea, you can test it. If something is working, you can scale it. If something is broken, you can fix it.
You'll work closely with the Corgi team and have the opportunity to build and shape our advertising function from the ground up.
If you are the kind of person who looks at an ad and immediately starts thinking about how you could make it convert better, we'd like to meet you.
