We are seeking an experienced Buyer who will act as the end-to-end purchasing facilitator, from source selection review and documentation for compliance assurance to surveillance of the executed purchase order. In this role, you will perform all procurement functions and will be responsible for requirement solicitation, placement and administration of purchase orders/subcontracts in compliance with company policies/procedures. You will maintain compliant policies/procedures in accordance with defined purchasing rules as published by DCMA and other applicable regulatory authorities. You will be involved in building and reviewing procurement packages for accuracy and adequate completion. You will review non-competitive award or sole source justifications, competitive bid packages, commercial item determinations, and make recommendations for approval. You will be involved in building request for proposal packages and reviewing responses. You will conduct price or cost analysis for a determination of fair and reasonable pricing and negotiate terms and conditions. You will be responsible for compliance activities on behalf of the company’s subcontractor and vendor base. Additionally, you will be involved in process improvement initiatives to modernize the overall purchasing process.

Required

• BS or BA degree
• 3 years of related purchasing experience
• MS Office Suite
• Experience with DCMA-compliant purchasing systems and audits
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
