About the role
As our Senior Commercial Operations Manager, you’ll lead the Commercial Operations function for MYOB’s Mid-Market business.
You’ll partner closely with our Sales, Customer Success, Business Development and senior leadership team to help drive commercial performance and sustainable growth. This is a role with real visibility and influence. You’ll turn complex data into clear direction, help our teams make smarter decisions, and lift the way we plan, perform and scale.
Leading a high-performing team, you’ll bring strong commercial judgement, sharp thinking and a practical approach to getting things done. From forecasting and pipeline health to territory design and incentive programs, you’ll help shape how our commercial teams operate at their best.
What will keep you busy...
- Lead and develop a high-performing Commercial Operations team, setting clear priorities and supporting delivery against strategic business goals
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Business Development and senior leaders to shape and deliver commercial strategies that support growth and great customer outcomes
- Own key sales and revenue operations activities, including forecasting, pipeline management, quota setting, territory design, incentive programs and performance reporting
- Deliver commercial insights, modelling and recommendations that support strategic decision-making across the business
- Improve the way we work by identifying opportunities to automate, simplify and strengthen processes and systems
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects, bringing people together to drive strong execution and measurable impact
- Maintain strong governance across commercial systems, reporting and data quality so leaders can make confident, informed decisions
What we'd love to see from you
- Strong experience leading Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations or Sales Operations functions in a complex, fast-moving business
- A track record of partnering with senior leaders and acting as a trusted commercial advisor
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to build, coach and empower high-performing teams
- Deep experience across forecasting, quota and territory planning, sales performance, commercial analysis and operational improvement
- Confidence working with CRM and reporting platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Power BI or similar tools
- A hands-on, proactive approach, with the ability to work through ambiguity, drive outcomes and balance strategy with execution
- Experience in a SaaS, ERP or broader technology business would be highly regarded
- An interest in using AI and emerging technologies to improve commercial operations and team efficiency
