Your mission

You are a connector and deal-maker with strong roots in the Special Projects and Major Events industry. You actively use your network to open doors, build a strong pipeline, and position BeWunder at the right table early on.

Special Projects is a newly emerging business unit, and you are among the first team members shaping its direction and success. Built on strong traction and proven delivery in the Middle East’s event landscape, your mission is to help bring this expertise to major international events beyond the region. You play a key role in translating our experience into new markets, opening doors, and establishing BeWunder as a trusted partner for high-impact global formats.

You help lay the foundation for future growth - combining entrepreneurial drive with strategic focus to turn early opportunities into long-term success.

Your location is flexible: you can be based at one of our main BeWunder offices in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, or Dubai.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • You leverage your existing industry network to identify and engage decision-makers, rights holders, creative agencies, and delivery partners across major sporting events, ceremonies, summits, and high-impact live formats.
  • You own and continuously develop a pipeline of Special Projects opportunities, including opening and closing ceremonies, overlay and venue experiences, international congresses, and recurring event platforms.
  • You conduct targeted market research on upcoming event calendars, competitor positioning, and emerging procurement windows to ensure BeWunder is present at the right time and place.
  • You act as the main commercial contact for key accounts and strategic partners, building long-term, trust-based relationships that lead to repeat business and strong references.
  • You develop pitch strategies and proposals in close collaboration with project, creative, and technical teams, ensuring that commercial positioning reflects BeWunder’s delivery strengths.
  • You represent BeWunder at industry events, summits, and networking forums, maintaining strong visibility within the major events community across Europe and beyond.


Your profile

  • You bring at least five years of relevant experience in business development, account management, or client-facing roles within major events, Special Projects, or overlay delivery - ideally across ceremonies, sports entertainment, or complex live formats.
  • You have a demonstrable and active network within the major events ecosystem, including rights holders, NOCs, sports federations, creative directors, producers, or overlay and infrastructure procurement contacts.
  • You have strong commercial instinct and know how to qualify opportunities early, assess strategic fit, and prioritise your pipeline effectively.
  • You communicate confidently and build strong relationships, navigating senior-level conversations with ease while remaining credible in both technical and creative project environments.
  • You work in a structured and self-directed way, managing multiple opportunities at once and tracking progress clearly within a CRM-based workflow.
  • You are willing and able to travel internationally as your pipeline requires.
  • You are fluent in English and German; and/or additional languages are a strong advantage.
