Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer
Location: Port Hedland Airport, WA
Are you looking for a rewarding role in the aviation security industry? Join our team as a Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer at Port Hedland Airport and play an important role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations.
What We Offer
Level 2 Pay Grade: $29.24 per hour
Superannuation
Shift loading penalties where applicable
Flexible part-time hours
Full training provided, including:
Certificate II in Transport Security Protection
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
ASIC card costs covered by us
Key Responsibilities
Conduct aviation security screening in accordance with regulatory requirements
Monitor access control points and restricted areas
Perform passenger, baggage, and vehicle screening
Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards
Follow all workplace health, safety, and security procedures
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have valid Australian work rights
Be able to successfully pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (company-funded)
Be reliable, professional, and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Have strong communication and customer service skills
Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Previous experience in security, aviation, customer service, or a similar role (not essential)
Master Licence 41299
