About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Permanent Part Time Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Moranbah Airport. As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff and airport operations.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Screen passengers, staff, and visitors to ensure airport security.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment.
- Conduct passenger screening, bag searches, and security checks when required.
- Patrol the airport and report any security risks or suspicious activity.
Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid Driver's license
- Valid QLD Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing)
- 24/7 availability required
